It was surreal, to say the least.

It was rivetting. I was watching tv all day.

A funeral service befitting such an exemplary lady. A service that rivaled that of Lady Diana’s.

The expansive Manila Cathedral was filled to the brim. There were tv stands scattered throughout the church, and thanks to technology, we too were able to see what was happening. It was remarkable seeing people from all walks of life coming to pay tribute, from the richest scions to the masses.

In our ways, we all said goodbye to one of the most honorable leaders in the world.

A lady from an affluent family, she made me realize that it’s not the material possessions that matter. She lived simply. Faith. Country. Family.

History will render the truest verdict of your time on earth.

History will have the final say.

And from the looks of it, I think she did favorably.
