of Singapore and sofa
February 10, 2010When we were in Singapore, we stayed at R.’s (KG’s friend) condo unit. And in R.’s unit were a couple of sofabeds, one of which Riza and I used. It looked similar to this, only it was in leather.
But the other sofabed in R.’s room is the one that we had been lusting over for the longest time (as I mentioned in my other site here). So I searched online for modern sofas and checked their online prices. In Singapore, it’s just 149 dollars. Singaporean dollars, that is. Which is actually just Php5000. Pretty cheap, right?
But that’s in Singapore.
I found a local reseller here in manila, and I sent them an inquiry. It’s about Php25,000. Boohoo! The shipping was Php20,000? And now I’m obsessed at how much shipping a two-seater couch from Singapore to Manila really costs. Any idea?
